He escaped with very little this time and was also wounded. That son of a bitch John Nesbit had come back in his way, and to top it all off the reporter's trick had only made things worse.

He took one hand to the side and removed the bloodied object, apparently the bullet had only grazed him, but he couldn’t afford to become infected and end up killing him, it would not be an end worthy of him. Worst of all, he couldn't waste his time healing because he had to do a lot of things yet.

He had been wondering for a few days why he had strayed from his task, and it ended up being answered that anger was dominated by making him clumsy. He wasn't thinking with the clarity that was usual in him, and that's why he had been about to get caught on more than one occasion. He decided to end the games and focus on his main task, and the first thing was to settle once and for all the other issues. He'd kill the cop before he could escape, and then he'd look for the second part of the diary.

When he crossed the threshold of the Duke Mansion, he knew someone else was there. The cop wasn't alone. It would come out worse for the person who dared to go in there, now he'd die next to that cop. He sneaked the distance separating the living room with the stairs, and immediately heard the noises coming from the top floor, those bastards had dared to go up there! He pulled out the sharp dagger quickly, and felt the fury go through his body completely.
